1) HOW CAN I PLACE AN ORDER?
You can purchase a custom order listing from the CUSTOM SHOP section of the website to pay in full for a standard item of clothing we offer (choose the most similar collage to what you want to order)! I will then contact you within 24 hours once you place that order for your specific design preferences and send measuring charts/get your sizing info!
-If you want something nonstandard/not pictured or would like to use our 50% deposit system / pay in installments (up to 4 interest free), email us at with a description of your request, and I will respond with a price quote and timeline for your order. We are based out of Virginia, USA, but ship worldwide.
2) HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY CUSTOM ORDER?
We typically book custom orders 3 MONTHS out due to our volume, but we do offer a limited amount of rush orders at a fee if we have availability! Previous clients have priority on rush order placement. You must email me in advance to see if I have availability for your rush deadline- fees typically range around +20% for 4 week turnaround (minimum for new clients). We do express and overnight shipping worldwide as well (buyer pays)! I can accomodate tours/shows/TV tapings/photo and video shoot deadlines of course with reasonable notice!
-QUEUE WAIT TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE AND SUBJECT TO FLEXIBILITY based on how long various orders take in the shop as every piece is unique! If you have a firm deadline that is to be met, we can only accomodate that if it is COMMUNICATED WHEN PLACING THE ORDER.
3) SHIPPING OPTIONS - INTERNATIONAL and US
-We ship WORLDWIDE and EXPRESS!! Delivery dates are not guaranteed on international shipments as customs may interfere unless paying for express service. International shipping to Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Central and South America is not guaranteed without insurance- no matter what speed you pay for it seems to take about 5 weeks to ship to these regions from the US (customs). Rush orders and deadlines may require USPS express shipping or a Fedex account for international rush shipping, paid by client. We typically ship domestic orders USPS Priority mail. Buyer always pays exact shipping cost depending on weight and destination.
4) DESIGN CHANGES AND FITTING ALTERATIONS
-Photos for your approval will be provided before shipping. Up to 2 changes are allowed within reason of the original request. Changes outside of the original request or in excess of this will require additional payment. If using the 50% deposit system, item must be paid in full before any requested changes are implemented. Change requests may delay delivery depending on the complexity of the request and our schedule availability.
-FIT IS NOT GUARANTEED if we have not done an in-person fitting. 1 alteration is included in the price of your purchase if necessary after photos are seen and once you try it on- garments must be returned to me for alteration (buyer pays return shipping) and we will ship them back. We do not compensate for alterations done by 3rd parties. In the case that return shipping is cost-prohibitive (international buyers), we can make an exception to offer no more than 20% of garment cost up to the demonstrable cost of shipping to have an international vendor implement the alteration. Alteration wait is typically 2-3 weeks but may vary depending on our availability.
5) PAYMENT POLICIES
You can pay in full through the site, but I do also take payment in INSTALLMENTS, and you must make a 50% DOWNPAYMENT to place yourself in the official queue. Deposits on custom orders are NONREFUNDABLE as I use them to pay for materials at the time you send them. I can however change your order until the point in time that I start sewing. Deposit in full is required before garment construction or design work can begin. Payment in FULL is required before shipment within 1 week of garment completion. Unpaid orders will be placed up for sale after 30 DAYS. REFUNDS AND RETURNS are NOT GIVEN on custom orders but changes and alterations are allowed within reason of the original request.
6) RETURN POLICY
CUSTOM SHOP ITEMS:
Refunds and returns are not offered on custom made items.
READY TO WEAR ITEMS:
You may return any non-custom item within 30 days of purchase for store credit or an exchange for a different size if available. Buyer pays return shipping. Maximum of 1 exchange allowed.
If your item is returned in any condition besides the new/unworn condition in which it was originally shipped (now having cat hair, deodorant stains, strong scent, etc.), we can not exchange it.
In some situations an exchange and/or credit are not possible, we will consider a request for a refund, or alterations on a case by case basis.
7) ENDORSEMENTS AND SPONSORSHIPS
WE DO NOT OFFER ENDORSEMENTS for bands and celebrities as we make everything by hand and try to keep our prices reasonable, however we do offer promotional discounts for active social media sharing/promotion/linking proportional to your reach. 100k+ social media followers receive a 10% promotional discount, 1m+ 20%. We also offer band/bulk wardrobe discounts of 10% if you order 4 or more pieces. 8) OUR NAME
-Kylla is pronounced "KILL-ah". It's my longtime nickname, a combination of my first and last names (Kim Dylla). It also means 'yes' in Finnish, and sounds like the word "killer". It's NOT "KIE-lah" or "KAI-la" or "Kay-lee". My name is Kim Dylla, and I design and sew all of this by hand with the help of my sewing assistant, Loryn.
9) GARMENT CARE AND WARRANTY
-Garments are hand wash only- hang dry gently. Do not machine wash or dry clean as it will potentially damage the hand painting, heat transfers, studs, and any delicate details we added. Any necessary repairs within 1 year of purchase are also free of charge, buyer need only pay return shipping. Improper care voids guarantee.
10) MATERIALS- vegan leather, and sending us bases!
. We are happy to provide all vegan materials on request! If you would like to send us an existing jacket, vest, or pair of jeans to "rock out" we do this- please contact us through the form for an exact quote and provide your idea and photos of the base you would be sending- prices are usually lower than making something from scratch! We typically make everything from high quality denims, spandexes, and genuine leather for durability on stage and in the ring.
11) STOREFRONT/PHYSICAL LOCATION
. We do not have a storefront, but we do have a sewing studio location in Charlottesville, Virginia which is available for in-person fittings. Please contact us in advance through the contact form to schedule an in-person fitting. I am also available to travel for band fittings and event fittings after a deposit is sent if my travel costs are paid.
